CAN have recently asked for help in setting up a Media Lab so they can run their 'DO i.t.' course. There's already a media Lab in place but it could do with a revamp and some new and funky bits and bobs of kit, so I've been rooting around seeing what I can make out of what they already have, and what needs updated and buying new. So far its looking great, and we're going to be buying more this week just to make sure that everything is covered; from graphics to moving image and sound production. They've got it all!
This is all in the build up to the DO i.t course being run by Community Arts North West to help artsits promote themselves with an online presence and profile that actually works, bringing in work and getting them noticed.
