Right, now thats out of the way lets check out the finished animation. Its all 24fps hand made stop frame animation, using paper and card. I know what your thinking,....... what kind of mad man makes something like this when he could just use After Effects/Motion/Flash etc....... to create a similar look and make it in a 100th of the time with a millionth of the effort. Why else do we have all this tech at our finger tips if we dont use it!?
Well if you really want to know, I wanted to make something that not only felt like it was hand made and old-school but also was! I am a bit of a perfectionist (who'd have guessed eh!?) and I wanted to make sure that the distinction between the Malinko software and old ways of doing things were highlighted. There was a bit of an argument for gradually fading the animation into motion graphics as it starts talking about how quick and easy Malinko makes handling your workload but in the end it just looked like it had gone wrong half way through.
