Johnson Tsang's work made me go WOW as soon as I saw it. It has an immediate impact that makes me gawp like a fool while trying to figure out how he's done it, making solids become liquids and liquids splash and move in ways that are impossible but still seem as if they should be real.
His work represents the fusion of eastern and western cultures that is at the centre of Hong Kong history.
