Designer Geeks Out on Game of Thrones

Designer Darrin Crescenzi has gone a little bit further than is really right in his obsession with the 'Game of Thrones'. After watching the series and then reading all five of the books he started taking notes on all the house's sigils so that he could then use the descriptions to design each of them into what you can see below.

As you can see he has managed to make something out of what only exists in the written word, and make a consistant graphical form out of it, taking each of the descriptions in the book and adding his own interpretation to create this poster. As someone who has only ever seen a few of the episodes on HBO I have to admit that I now going down the shops to get the first book and become a recluse too. Amazing what good design can make me do!
